The "lampshade" the Vet~Ampire put on my head on Wednesday, remains firmly in place! No matter how much I beg the Mama, she wont remove it.But rather then bore you with details of the agony over my current condition, I will instead share some close ups of some of my body parts
Mama says that my hair reminds her of a wheat field~I am not sure that
is a compliment or not~~
This is, even by my standards, my extremely cute paw
And This bloomed in our garden this morning.
Mama said that she heard someone once say
~If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change~
There I was, sleeping peacefully in my bed, dreaming...and in my dream I heard mama say to papa...
" You need to take him this morning, I can't, because I have to have a root canal this morning, and a few other things done at the dentist, but one thing is for sure, he needs to see the Vet"
Thank Dawgs ..it was just a dream...I thought in my dream..because I...yes... I know this will be hard to belive, because I look fearless...but I am very scared of the "Vetampire" (Nannok and Pooka calls them this, because they always seem to want blood from us)... Mama says I am a "chicken, but we all know that is completly not possible...right?
Anyway...hold on to your dogbeds...I was not dreaming..I guess I have something called hotspots* on my face..( not sure why they call it hot spots, cause it isn't very hot) and I was due for all my shots and heartworm/lime tests...which definatly ment the vetampire would want blood again...Well I spare you dawgs the grizzly details..just trust me..it was a bad morning all the way around
Here I am this afternoon...do you see what I have to wear...? A lampshade..
Now ...HOW am I going to pick up my ball
( this is SCL mama...pleaseee check out the expression on his face, click on pic to see bigger..it is priceless) and my bunny...thank Dawg..he sticks up a little bit so I was able to grab him I wonder if this will be a permanent condition...?
My favorite game in the world is wrestling with Mama. I take my most favorite stuffy ( in this case, a lovely, very real looking bunny rabbitt) and I JAB Mama with it over and over again until she laughs so hard that she just lets me win..
Here we go again~~~Do you dawgs have your phones ready to vote for American Howling tonight?Mamma said it is down to the wire now..(what wire.....what IS a wire) 2 howlers**left!! Mamma told me that every human and every dawg counts~~so get your phones ready..I got mine secured...woot

Yes that is right, I really do not understand it, even when my Mamma explained it to me...she said that in Norway they celebrate today because ....( you wont understand it either Dawgs, but I will tell you any way..(because she is making me )
After beeing under Danish rule for some 400 years Norway had her own revolution in 1814. A very peaceful revolution, consisted of calling a constituonal convention which declared that Norway is a free and indivisable kingdom.
The constitution of the Kingdom of Norway proclaimed by the Constituent Assembly at Eidsvold on the 17th of May 1814.
"There shall be liberty of the Press. No person must be punished for any writing, whatever its contents may be, which he has caused to be printed or published, unless he wilfully and manifestely has either himself shown or incited others to disobeidence to the laws, contemt of religion or morality or the constitutional powers, or resistance to their orders, or has advanced false and dematory accusations against any other person. Everyone shall be free to speak his mind frankly on the administration of the State or on any subject whatsoever."
The Constitution day is still the most celebrated in the nation. But it is not celebrated - as independence is in other nations - with large military parades and displais of the most terrifying military parades with arms and weapons.
Norway`s birthday is celebrated with party-clothed children and adults who walk in a parade singing.
This is the Day of an independent and freedom-loving people. And children`s parades is everywhere in the country. Everywhere - even in the smallest villages: Children are singing!
Norway`s day of independence is the day for the future: It is the day for the children - Children of all ages: Young and old!
Hurra Hurra Hurra~~(Mamma made me bark that too)
And last, Norway also won the Eurovison Grand Prix ( is like each country in Europe has their own American howling, and then one person wins, and then each country competes against all the other countries in Europe..it is so important that it made mamma cry red, blue and white ( colors of the Norwegian flag) tears...
and here is the winning performance and song..dawgs you might want to put your paws over your ears..this howling hurts my ears!
Oh Dawgs~ does your mamma's beg you to watch the howling ** show with them every Tuesday and Wednesday? Mine does..insists I sit on the sofa right next to her, just so I have to to live through not only the howling** on TV but also Mamma's howling after each howling...and This is my take on it all
Greetings Dawgs~ and wishing everydawg a beautiful Spring
Last weekend~ after...my first spring swim in the lake
Just a little bit of " dawg venting " So my mamma got a new job last fall, and in her departing remarks on her first day of work, she said: " Chancelot, I know that you are used to me being home with you, I know that you are used to me running with you in the woods every day, I know you are used to resting at my feet under my desk at peace with the world,....well a few things are about to change regretfully, but I am sure they will balance out in not too long...."...Ahhh nope no balance...way down on the runs in the woods, and way down on the under mamma's desk with HER THERE!!!

My Bark~Day is June 25th.2005.
My family tells me I am the most gorgious Golden ever seen ( Im not sure if that goes beyond our driveway, but I am pretty sure it does. I have caught a glimpse or two of my self in the mirrors, and I have to say I agreee with my family's judgement.I love to chase tennis balls, Go for long walks, preferably somewhere that involves lots of rushing water. I love people, maybe even more then my tennis balls.I aspecially love my Pappa, Cameron. Because of him, I have a Dog's dream life. He wished for a golden since he was just 3 years old, and then My aunt Vanessa (Nanook and Pooka's mamma)Uncle Sean, and Uncle Sandy ( Nanook's and Pooka's Pappa) got me for My Pappa's 9th birthday present.
(If you scroll to the bottom of this page~you can see some more nice pictures that my mamma made, well most of them.
