Today is Bloggers Unite for the Environment, and so I am posting maybe one,two,three posts today to share with you,
to do my part to raise awareness about the environment and
my belief that everydog and everyhuman can do something to change the path we are on, by each of us just changing a few habits.

1. If you are not using non toxic, eco friendly household products, start now.
2. If you are still using "normal" lightbulbs, change them to the eco safe energy saving ones, to save us from melting



3. Recycle
4. limit your garbage
5. Turn all electricity off when not in use from the wall~keep Earth
breathing



6. Buy local foods
7. Use a clothe Bag when grocerie shopping
8. Cancel all junk mail~cause planets doesn't do this

Calling All Doggies and Hammies

I know ..what does dogs know about global warming and eco issues ..right..well, if we don't,we better start. The Blogger community has asked all bloggers to participate in "Bloggers for the Environment". I guess that means us doggies too.
Now the truth is, us doggies do live in harmony with nature,

but many humans, does not. Not because they are bad or want to harm the planet, they simply just don't know that what they do IS hurting the planet.

Autumn is for Bird Watching

"So, this bird walks into a store




A seagull in Scotland has developed the habit
of stealing chips from a neighborhood shop.

The seagull waits until the shopkeeper isn't looking,
and then walks into the store and grabs
a snack-size bag of cheese Doritos.

Once outside, the bag gets ripped open
and shared by other birds.

The seagull's shoplifting started
early this month
when he first swooped
into the store
in Aberdeen, Scotland,
and helped himself to a bag of chips.

Since then, he's become a regular.
He always takes the same type of chips.

Customers have begun paying
for the seagull's stolen bags of chips
because they think it's so funny"
The Moral of the story ....Next time you dawgs are at the store, help yourself to
a package of bacon or some pork chops...the customers will pay for it??!!
I thought you Doggies would get a kick out of this story..hehe

Are you ready for more water drops...heheh. Oh come on now..it is TIME, it after all HAS been a while. We have been good, but we can only go so long without getting down low* to the earth, and seeing some of those spectacular hidden worlds.
So yesterday, it was unseasonably warm (stillis) and in my daily ball playing routine I came across this little friend, who had suffered a similar fate to that of
Freddie the Leaf.

I sniffed him for a long time, to see if maybe my breath would give him his breath back, but he remained un`fluttering, with a single water Drop desperately clinging on

It always makes me think that one day I too, will be Freddie the Leaf, and I would want all my friends to remember me, to maybe even say..

"Oh that Sir Bacon~he was special in his own way, I will always remember him"

I would want to be remembered because I was a good dog, and maybe helped a few monarchs and dogs along my way...maybe even helped them be remembered in a special way.
SO I wrote this little picture story for my new friend the un`fluttering Monarch, who is still displaying his brilliant colors, even after he has fluttered beyond the Veils of this world!

To "Tell All" about the First day I came to live with my family! It was the happiest day of my life. Vanessa,Sandy (nook and poookas mamma and pappa), and Sean (my uncle)
wanted to get my little pappa Cameron a puppy for his 9th birthday, and my mamma found me at this place:

They wanted Cameron to be all surprised, and so noone told him about me, and that I was going to be a barkday pressie!
The day they came to pick me up (I ofcourse had been informed..hehe, even though at the time I had no clue what moving to a new place meant, cause I was only a wee baby)
My breeder, came in to the kennel where I lived with my doggie mamma,doggie pappa and siblings, and tied a BIG blue ribbon around my neck, and said "you are the BEST barkday Pressie any little boy could dream of" She made me feel very proud to be a barkday pressie.
Soon after a whole group of humans (my new family, Mamma, BIG Pappa, and Cameron Pappa, Sandy and Vanessa AND Gimini Cricket, (who is now living on the rainbow bridge)came walking around outside the kennel...my breeder was hiding in the shed with me and my blue ribbon in her arms
( Now I have to tell you that everyone had tricked Cameron to think that they were just going to look at some Sicilian mini goats and stuff, that also lives at plantation Delight and he did not even know that Goldens lived at this place)
When my new family came around the corner,my breeder popped out with me in her arms, still holding me, they all started singing "Happy Barkday"...INCLUDING Cameron, because he had NO clue I was his barkday pressie, and he thought everyone was singing Happy Bark day to ME...hahahah. Now You should have seen his face when my breeder handed him ME...(sadly no pics of this face)It was what mamma says was a KODAK moment, but she didn't have her camera right there. Cameron started crying a little bit, cause he was so shocked. YOu do all know that he had been wishing for a golden puppy since he could talk...So here are some pictures that mamma took, when she finally got her act together and got her camera...

since it was the first time I was in a car
and then Cameron slept on me. That pink
thing you see, is a pink piggy they gave me
to keep me companyI had no trouble sleeping almost all the way home
look at my adorable little pink tongue sticking out..

Oh and this was the best. They had a big pressie waiting for me
at my new house, a SpongeBob pool with a palm tree that squirted water
from it. and in it floated a duckie, that even made duckie sounds
I LOVED him (RIP, cause I shredded him a little bit)

Asta asked us all to find a musical tribute to welcome you and We thought this was a good tribute, also because we heard about the news today that the United Kingdom (for the doggies that doesn't know where that is, it is where Harry lives) are bringing many many soldiers home from Irak.

Saturday morning I awoke to pappa calling my name, telling me it was time to go. No clue where,but I am ready and willing anytime for the word "Go". Mamma was already in the car.
I am sure you doggies already know by now, how much I love rivers and swimming...well, usually we go to the dogpark nearby our house, to swim in the river there, but the rivers is slowly vanishing, because of too little rain, and or global warming, so there is not much to swim in there anymore :o/, which makes me very sad. There is one river still that usually is so big that you can still swim in it even if there are no rain. I have never been there, but I have dreamt about it from the time Mamma told me it existed...well Saturday was the day I was going to get to see it.
It took about 40 minutes for us to get there in our car.

Usually you can not see the rocks in the water, but even
the Housatonic is very low.

As I swam around in the beautiful clean water,

I was wondering what
lives in this river, when we came across this
He is a craw fish, not a lobster, and he had left* his shell, cause
(mamma told me this) a hawk came and maybe wanted to eat him.Yikes,
I am glad I am not a craw fish.
If you look straight down the middle of this pic. you can see my tiny head
in the water..do you see me?
Here I am pretending to fish for salmon. Mamma said that there are Russian salmon that lives in this river. Don't ask me how they got all the way from Russia to here, I guess they have to be very good swimmers.
If you ever want to go to visit this river, you should also know about this place, A little town called
"Kent"

On our way home we stopped here, but I was so sleepy from all the swimming that I did not even want to get out of the car, but mamma thought maybe
all the doggie mamma's would be interested in this little place in Kent:
