I am not really a mean doggie

It is just that I prefer cats,butterflies,ants,fish,birdies and people. This is my bestest friend Sputnik

I love him very much, sometimes we sleep together and I clean him when he comes home from his adventures outside. I also love butter flies and whales. Sometimes I watch fish and whales on TV. I asked my mamma what she thought a whale and a butterfly's baby would look like, and she said "maybe something like this"?

We have a birch birdie house on our porch that has babies in it, and sometimes me and Sputnik sit underneat it, and wait to see if maybe we can see them. I would kiss them alot, but I think Sputnik might have other plans, and I am not sure I like it, so I have to keep an eye on him so he does not hurt the babies in there. The mamma birdie flies very close to me sometimes, and I think I heard her whisper "thank you" one time.

The other day when I was lying on the porch just watching bugs and ants, a Monarch butterfly landed right on top of one of mamma's pione flowers in the garden that Nanook and Pooka's mama planted for her on last year mama day. It was so close to my nose that its wings touched my wet nose. I held my breath, and I did not move anything in my body. It was very hard because I really really wanted to kiss it. He was BEAUTIFUL. I wish sometimes I could fly like the butterflies:O)..but I guess my jumping in the air for my ball is good enough.

Oh here is a picture of the Pione flower the monarch landed on, my mamma did not have the camera so she couln't take a picture of me and the monarch, and the "moment" lasted just a couple of seconds, so she wouldn't have had time to run and get it. But she said it for sure was a "kodak moment"
Aww look how pretty that flower is..we have pink ones too. We love Nanook and Pooka's mamma for planting our garden. I am off now to go to the dog park..Mamma said the river and lakes might have more water in them now that we got some water...YAY.
