G'Day Mates....

What do you doggies think...Im getting ready for Asta Up Over's barkparty, and as you all know, the theme is cowboys, so I thought I would go as an Australian Cowboy.
Today Mamma and I went out to the woods right by our house. I wore my cowboy hat to see if other doggies liked it. All the other doggies was not there..tush e . I hope Asta likes it, thats the only important thing, since it is her barkday soon.

It was very hot with that Down Under Cowboy hat on, so I sure hope it will be cooler at Asta's party.. If not I hope she has a pool like this one,

and I also hope this doggie is coming to the bark day party cause he looks like he is a *Party~Starter* Yihaaaa

Hi Ladies~well I had to really convince my Sir Bacon,

(his head has grown just a bit since we got that bacon tree,
and doggies are stalking him for it..hehe,
He thinks he is a rock star, and insists I call him
Sir Bacon at all times...sigh)

Tuesday Dreaming

Hi Everydog~Check out these dawgs. Mamma said these dogs live in the wild and do not have human mammas and pappas...how do they take bubble baths then, and where do they sleep? When mamma puts this video on, I sit VERY quiet and watch ALL the way through, I specially love the part where they howl at the moon. I think they are kinda pawsome..what do you dogs think?

Happy Laboring Weekend EveryDog

I'll be laboring with my tennis balls..hehe, and hopefully there will be (and it looks promising already,cause mamma took me to the beach yesterday as a start on the laboring weekend) lotsa water involved in my laboring. Here is a couple of pics of me yesterday..I love sea grass and sea weeds and when mamma throws my ball into the middle of a patch of high seagrass...

SURPRISE EveryDog....

Yes it is true...we planted a ~BACON TREE~ at our house. I am inviting everydog to come over and try it out. It is amazing..it JUST started "blooming" today, good thing cause I was feeling pretty down. I have as You can see thoroughly checked it out for authenticity and quality,You can also see that I am so ecstatic that I threw myself on my back with all fours in the air!! You guys will LOVE it!!!Greatest thing is, as soon as you eat one bacon piece it grows right back...Mamma said that we might have some extra seeds we can send to everydog, should you be interested.....Yeah I thought so..hehe.Hey maybe Ruby can pick everydog up in her plane and bring everydog here..?
My Tail is Waggin now!!!

Hi EveryDog

I am sorry It has been sort of quiet over here the last few days~My mamma has been feeling a little ill, and been very busy, so I have been sooo bored!
I also hurt my leg a little a couple of days ago, running after the ball, so I have to take it easy mamma said. Not an easy task being me~Mr.Energizer bunny!
So both mamma and I are resting and trying to feel better.

Hurrah..I got to go to the carwash today AND the hardware store

with my big pappa and mamma came to, cause she needed to go to starbucks for her Java fix.
I decided to make a slide show of the picture I made mamma take, cause there are many, and I wanted you to see them all. We will begin with a daily gorgeous picture of me in the pool..my AM routine, followed by me in the car, and at the car wash. I make sure that they do a good job, and I even jump up to see when the car goes through the "Bath machine"...thank Dogness, mamma doesn't tell the bath man to put ME through there.
When the car was finished, pappa said he had to go to the hardware store to get a stake for a new sign he wanted to post by the road....I wasn't sure what that meant, but as you can see....it was a surprise...apparently we have Golden Retriever "crossings" on our lawn and drive way ....maybe when I am sleeping? I have seen all the bambies on our lawn...but never Golden Retrievers...unless of course...they are talking about me?
Mamma said she wanted to look at some stones for a walkway, so I helped her check them out .
NOW when we were done putting the sign up, pappa and I went to the mailbox..and guess what...Amber, guess what was in there today...YES the beautiful drawing your mamma Melissa made of me..I can't believe it, It MADE it after all. I was very very upset, cause Amber told me that she had mailed it to me a long time ago, but it never came, so we thought it was lost.
Thank you so very much it is beautiful and does me justice..hehe. Ambers Mamma is very talented with her pencils. It must have taken a LONG time to make that, and I feel very humbled, that Ambers mamma took all that time to make a picture of me. (Mamma says that art always takes a LONG time to make, and it is ALOT of effort and thinking involved in it, so when someone makes art for someone, it sure is special!!!
Thank you again Ambers mamma, so very much. I am going to get mamma to get a beautiful frame for it, and then I am going to hang it on the wall over my bed!

Today Mamma and I went "weeding"

On our property. No we did not pull out* weeds, we went looking for weeds that live on our property :O)
These are just a few we found oh and ONE feather we found . These are the common kind of weeds that people spend their weekends lying on their knees and backs and pull at ..hehe ( mamma made me say that).
I think these are as pretty as some of the ones my mamma goes and pay money for at the store that are called "perennials ". What you guys think. These are Macro* photographed, so they are tiny tiny in "real life":O)

They found a really neat kennel with very good reputation very close by the camp, so they can come and pick me up in the morning early, and we are going to kayak, go visit islands, hike, swim and have a barkelious time. I am so excited about it.
I just finished looking at some of the pictures from their trip, and thought maybe you guys wanted to check it out too. Enjoy~

Oh in the slides..You can see everything from blueberries,to merboy,whales, and martha stewart,some local flora, crabs,cats, and a little hermit crab girl. Some macros of maine's waterdrops (mamma said she couldn't leave them out) seals and kayak pics.
Mamma said that she is going to start teaching me to kayak....

Hello Dawgies...boy am I happy to be back home.
I had a lovely time at Nanook and Pooka's house, but it is good to be home.
While I was away I had alot of time to think, and really understand what a special community of dawgies we have here, and how barkful I am for all my virtual dawgie friends. Because I am a little unpredictable with other dawgs, and Nanook and Pooka's mamma had a broken toe+ some stomack virus, the visit was quiet and uneventful, because Nessa had to rest alot.
Mamma said that she is going to make up for it with lots of walks and dog park adventures. She also told me today that they are taking me to Maine next year...BARKIE!!!!!

Last day in Maine

Both sadly and happily we are returning home tomorrow!

Another day in paradise...80 degrees no humidity, beautiful sunny skies. yesterday I tried out our friend scotti's sea kayak, and took it out for a spin in the ocean...stoped on a little island for a bit of yoga and a sunbath as the waves were washing over me the whole time, and they are COLD. As I sat on the little island 2 seal pups climbed up on rocks just feet away from me and regarded me with calm curiosity...ohhh their faces up close...and NO camera, as I have yet to get myself a "wet pack" for it. Miss Chance Soooo much.Chance's mamma :o/
